The Pettis County Sheriff’s Office has issued an Endangered Missing Person Alert.

Just before 5 a.m. Tuesday morning, June 19th, deputies were called to a residence on East 32nd Street, just outside the Sedalia City Limits, on a report of a female being abducted from her home.

Reva J. Stevenson, age 29, was taken at gunpoint by a white male known to her. The male had come to the residence and fired shots outside the home. The two left westbound on foot into the city limits on 32nd Street.

Stevenson is considered to be an Endangered Missing Person and a law enforcement alert has been issued for her. Reva J. Stevenson, 29, is described as a white female, approximately 5’6″ tall, 100 pounds with shoulder length brown hair and a thin build. She was last seen wearing a striped jacket and jeans.

The suspect in this case has been identified and charges have been requested from the Pettis County Prosecutor’s Office.

Police continue search for missing woman

A Sedalia woman is still missing after being abducted from her home.

According to the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department, just before 5 a.m. Tuesday, Reva J. Stevenson, 29, was taken at gunpoint from her home on East 32nd Street just outside city limits by a white male known to her. The man came to the residence and fired the gun outside before leaving with Stevenson on foot walking toward the city limits.

Stevenson has been named an endangered missing person. She is described as about 5-foot-6, 100 pounds with shoulder-length brown hair; she was last seen wearing a striped jacket and jeans. According to Sheriff Kevin Bond, the man she was seen with has been identified but his name is not being released until charges have been filed with the Pettis County Prosecutor’s Office.

“We have two investigators on the case and have been following up on leads,” Bond said. “Nothing has been verified yet.”

Anyone with information about Stevenson’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Sheriff’s Office at 827-0052.
