Police search for missing boy

ALBANY, N.Y. -- Albany Police are asking for the public's help in finding an 11-year-old boy who did not come home from school Friday.

Zinque Thomas of Thornton Street has been missing since Friday afternoon. His parents tell police he didn't return home after attending classes at KIPP: Tech Valley School on Northern Boulevard.

He's 4-foot 6-inches tall and weighs approximately 80 pounds. He may also have a black backpack.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Albany Police at 438-4000.

Missing Albany boy found safe

ALBANY — The 11-year-old boy who went missing Friday has been found safe, police said.

Police had searched for Zinque Thomas ever since his parents said he did not go home Friday after attending classes at KIPP: Tech Valley School, on Northern Boulevard.

Saturday night, police said he was found and was returned home safely.
