Police seek teen missing from Emmett

Savanna D. Kochaniek, 15, is described as being 5 feet 5 inches tall and 100 pounds in weight.

The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday asked for the public’s help in locating a missing teen who may have run away.

Savanna D. Kochaniek, 15, left a home in Emmett in the overnight hours Monday, the sheriff’s office said in a news release. Authorities believe she may be a runaway.

She is described as being 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing 100 pounds. She has red hair and blue eyes.

Sheriff Greg Riat says Savanna D. Kochaniek left the home some Sunday night or Monday morning. She is a 15 year old white female with red hair and blue eyes. She is about 5' 5" tall and weighs about 100 lbs.

Missing Teen in Pottawatomie County Located

Update on missing teen !

The runaway girl from Emmett reported earlier this week has been located.

15 year old Savanna Kochaniek was found Thursday afternoon in Topeka. Detectives from the Pottawatomie county sheriff’s department following up leads located her at a relative’s house in Topeka and she was taken into custody by Topeka Police . Pottawatomie county Sheriff Greg Riat reported Tuesday Kochaniek left her home in Emmett sometime in the overnight hours Monday (May 21).
