Nampa police still searching for missing teen

NAMPA - The Nampa Police Department began asking for the public's help Thursday in locating an 18-year-old missing woman, Joanna Noteboom.

Noteboom did not show up for work Wednesday and had not had contact with family.

As of Friday morning, police were still looking into leads on Noteboom's whereabouts but had not received any notifications that she had been found, NPD detective Angela Weekes said.

She is 5 feet 3 inches tall and 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about Noteboom’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Nampa Police Department at 465-2257.

Missing Nampa teen Joanna Noteboom now considered a fugitive

NAMPA — An 18-year-old Nampa woman who disappeared early last month is no longer considered a missing person, Sgt. Tim Randall said.

Now, she’s a fugitive.

Officials believe Joanna Noteboom left the area with a boyfriend on or around June 7, absconding from a juvenile probation program. Since then, Randall said, she contacted her mother from California and said she may soon leave for New York.

That contact is enough to remove her missing person status — but corrections officials still want to bring her home. IDOC issued a warrant for Noteboom’s arrest shortly after her disappearance.
And that, Randall said, will likely make her easier to find.

The arrest warrant will show up on any police computer anywhere in the country. It’s just a matter of waiting for her to show up on law enforcement’s radar.

Noteboom is 5 foot 3 inches tall, 130 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Those with information regarding her whereabouts are asked to contact the Idaho Department of Corrections at 659-2000.
