Mpls. police seek missing 10-year-old girl 12:33 PM, Jun 15, 2012 MINNEAPOLIS - Minneapolis police are looking for a 10-year-old girl who hasn't been seen or heard from since Thursday evening. Police spokesman Sgt. William Palmer says the father of Symbri Zinki called to report her missing. He last saw her at their home on the 3500 block of Lyndale Avenue South about 2 p.m. Thursday, and last talked to her on the phone about 8:45 p.m. Symbri told her father she was spending the night at a friend's house, but that turns out not to be true,. Palmer describes the missing girl as a white female, four feet tall and 85 pounds. Symbri has brown shoulder length hair and was last seen wearing orange shorts and a white t-shirt with a design on the front, possibly a cat. The child had no shoes on. Minneapolis Police are concerned for the girl's welfare due to her age and the fact that she did not spend the night at her friend's home, that she always travels by bike and the bike is at her residence, and that she left her residence without any shoes. Officers have also learned that her cell phone was turned off a few hours after she was last heard from, and the phone has not yet come back on. Symbri has been known to frequent Lyndale School at 34th Street West and Grand Avenue South, and Bryant Square Park at 31st Street West and Bryant Avenue South. Anyone who sees Symbri Zinki or knows of her whereabouts is asked to call Minneapolis Police at 612-673-2345, or simply dial 911. www.kare11.com/news/article/979586/391/Mpls-police-seek-missing-10-year-old-girl
