Parents of a missing 13-year-old girl are pleading for the public's help in finding their daughter.

Cheyanne Belcher was last seen Thursday, according to Shelbyville police. Her parents believe she may be with a 19-year-old man and could be in the Murfreesboro area.

The girl has been reported missing and returned previously, police said, and they consider her a runaway.

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. – The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is asking for help finding an endangered runaway teen from Shelbyville.

Joanna Belcher, 13, was last seen Friday, June 22. She may be in the local area.

She is described as a white female with sandy hair and hazel eyes. She weighs approximately 120 pounds, and is 4'11". Her ears are pierced and she has a round scar on one of her thighs.

Anyone with information about Joanna's location is asked to call 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678).

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. -
Shelbyville police say a missing 13-year-old girl has been found and is safe.

Joanna Cheyanne Belcher had been missing since the night of June 22.

Information about where she was found was not released.

At the time of her disappearance, Shelbyville police thought Belcher might be traveling with a 19-year-old and the two could try to leave the state.

Officials classified the case as a runaway and said Belcher had gone missing before.

Update: Missing Tennessee Teen Joanna Cheyenne Starr Belcher was found in Decatur, Alabama Friday around 6 p.m. The Shelbyville Times-Gazette reported that her mother picker her up there and brought her back to Tenn., where she spoke with authorities.
