Friends search for missing 20-year-old girl Jul 31, 2012 7:20 p.m. LAS VEGAS (FOX5) - Metro police are asking for help in finding a missing 20-year-old girl who vanished Friday night. Brenna Schmidwebster was last seen by her roommates at their home near St. Rose and Gillespie. "I don't know where she could have gone, what could have happened to her," said Schmidwebster's roommate Chanel Pineda. "No one has heard from her." Pineda and Sasha Frost said their roommate Schmidwebster was in good spirits as they were getting ready for bed Friday night. When Schmidwebster didn't show up to work at Lucille's Smokehouse Saturday morning, that triggered a red flag. "She has very strong work ethnic," said Pineda. "She has woken up twice late for her work and has called work saying I'm going to be there as soon as possible. It's not like her to not show up to work." Schmidwebster sent a text to Pineda saying she was going to work that day. Her phone has been off ever since. Her roommates don't think Schmidwebster ran off, since all that's missing from her bedroom is her makeup bag and phone charger. "I don't know if she's being held against her will or what," said Frost. "I know in my heart she would contact us if she was able to." The two filed a missing person's report Monday. Metro police said they're investigating the disappearance, but what makes it difficult is there are no immediate signs of foul play. The roommates fear she's in danger and are praying for her safe return. "Just let her go if anyone is holding her against her will," said Pineda. "Let her come back. Let her live her life." "I don't know what's happening to her or what has happened to her," said Frost. "I want her back. She's my best friend." Schmidwebster may be driving a red 1992 Ford Ranger bearing Nevada plate 861-YAU. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call Metro police at (702) 828-3111. m.fox5vegas.com/w/main/story/69167277/
