Police are continuing their search Monday for a 7-year-old boy who's been missing from his Northeast D.C. home since Sunday morning. Katrina Kingsbury says her son, Michael Kingsbury, was last seen walking in their home's alley in the 1700 block of West Virginia Avenue NE between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Michael, who has autism, is about 4'3" tall, weighs 60 pounds and has dreadlocks. Police searched abandoned buildings and sheds Sunday, but Michael was seemingly nowhere to be found. His mother said it's not like him to wander away. "It's unusual for him to leave. It's never happened," she said. "As many times as he's been out here and played, he's never left the backyard. He knows not to go in to the street." Michael was last seen wearing a pull-up and may be in need of medical attention. "I just want somebody to bring him home. Please, just bring my son home," his mother pleaded. "I love him. He's very loved, and he has family. We just need him home." Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Michael Kingsbury is asked to call the Metropolitan Police Department at 202-727-9099, Youth Investigations Division at 202-576-6768 or 911.www.nbcwashington.com/news/local/Missing-Boy-May-Need-Medical-Attention-214532261.html
