Was Rachel Roberts kidnapped?
Have you seen this missing teen? Rachel Roberts was last seen around July 14, but since then has not had any contact with her loved ones or friends. While there is evidence that she is a runaway (she had an argument with her family not long before vanishing), it should be noted that her cellphone was found abandoned at a TRAX station, meaning she is now without a way to contact her family if she needs help. This simple detail could be indicative of foul play in the teen's case -- but will officials acknowledge it? It's easy for police and investigators to write off missing teens as merely runaways -- when even runaways can fall victim to abductions and other crimes. Michelle Knight was a teen runaway befor Ariel Castro reportedly lured her into a house of horrors where she remained for a decade with Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus. Hopefully investigators don't ignore the possibilities in this case so this young lady doesn't end up a forgotten missing person turned crime victim. On the other hand, this 15-year-old girl could be hiding from her loved ones, but that means someone must be harboring her. If that's the case, they are breaking the law and could be prosecuted if this girl is found in their home. Otherwise, it doesn't seem likely that Rachel Roberts is out there on her own surviving without assistance.
